me, my crew, my heart
Hi, I’m Lindsay! A mom of 4 kids (8,5,3,1), wife to a cop, a beekeeper, former hiphop dance champion, chicken wrangler, wannabe gardener and firm believer in the art of being present to the beautiful lives we live. When I really take a step back and look at the life I have with these kiddos, I find so much magic in the mundane. The sibling giggles, the dimples in their tiny hands, the “craft” projects made with entirely too much tape, the toddler bedhead, the Saturday sports— all of it adds up to be just as special as the big life events. And I want to capture it to help you remember.

Giving back
As a wife of a cop and a sister to 2 firefighters, I knew as soon as I started my own business that I wanted to give back to first responders and their families. My family knows the weight and intensity of carrying this career and i'ts both a hardship and an honor to be a part of the thin blue line family. A portion of every session will go back to support the mental health of first responders and their people. I met my husband right out of college in Oklahoma, moved back to my hometown in Colorado to get married and now we are raising 4 sweet (and wild and feral) babes on a little hobby farm east of Longmont. We have an old farm dog and goats, chickens, bees, some barn cats, a massive garden and the Colorado mountains to the west. We camp in the summers a ton and if we are feeling really crazy, we spend our Friday nights at Costco or Target and we stay up until 10.
To help you remember. To capture the magic in the mundane. The beauty in the day to day and to actually get ALL of you in the same picture (because we are never in the cute shots are we mamas?!). I want to give you something tangible to remember these fleeting moments with. I didn't grow up with a ton of pictures of my family (Olin Mills anyone?!) and now as a mom, I am constantly battling the time warp of motherhood. I live in the space of not wanting my babies to get any bigger but I also can't wait to see the human they will grow up to be.
